The New Princeton Crew Boat House

Imagine a boathouse on the Indian River. Available to the whole community to use. With restrooms, a locker room, workout (erg) room and storage for locals and visiting crews. Visiting crews from the NE colleges of the United States would come and spend up to a week rowing in our intra-coastal waterway and C-54 Canal practicing here when weather does not permit in their areas. Affording our community with all the services they would need while visiting our area- rooms, food and so much more.

Future Plans of things to come:

Working with other not for profit organizations in the areas we will provide Summer Rowing Camps for disadvantaged, at-risk and/or exceptional teens. We will be offering various camp opportunities during the summer months. Camp will consist of 5 consecutive days of 5 hour long sessions. During the camp these teens will be instructed in rowing, safety issues, watch videos, meet rowers who have been very successful due to rowing, served lunch, snacks and drinks. We will make this a fun event that hopefully will inspire them to dream big. They will learn a sport that is fun but takes team work. Working together they will learn to achieve great things.

Summer Competitive Rowing will include possible trips to places like New Jersey and more for races held during the summer months. This program will be limited and rowers will have to raise their own funds to travel.

Continued Adult rowing - rowers in this group work together to schedule row days with each other for the sport of rowing. It is a great low impact workout and a fun way to get that needed and desired exercise in. These rowers pay each time they row to cover expenses of equipment used and coach/coxswains if needed.

We are a community based club so come out and join us.
